What kind of care and maintenance do I need on
the granite tops? Do I need special cleaners? |

For everyday cleaning of your new granite countertops, we at International
Stone recommend using mild soap and water. Once a week we recommend using
a product by StoneTech Professional, Inc. Called Revitalizer™ Stone & Tile
Cleaner and Protector

The stone cleaner and protector does not contain any harsh ingredients,
therefore it is safe to use on food handling surfaces.
To apply the cleaner, you simply wipe off any loose debris existing on the
surface of the granite. Spray the cleaner, and wipe off with a soft
absorbent cloth. AVOID the use of products containing Ammonia, Bleach, or
anything Acidic, for they could eventually strip the protective sealer,
leaving the granite vulnerable to staining. |

Can I be installed the same day as templates? |
| |
Unfortunately not. The process
involves making the template, bringing it back to the facility to
fabricate, and then scheduling an appointment to be installed. For better
answers on lead time, always refer to an International Stone
representative by calling (781) 933-3577. |

Why does my countertop have a seam? I didn't
want one. |
| |
The reason for this would be because
the size or configuration of your countertop did not allow it to fit on a
single run of the slab you have chosen. i.e. Your longest stretch of
countertop is 12' but the slab is only 10' in length. This would result in
a seam being placed in the coutertop. There are other altercations that
could involve putting a seam in a countertop, but as always we strive to
fabricate our kitchens with the least amount of seams as possible, if any
at all. |

Can I do a custom edge? |

Do I need to remove my existing countertops
before you make templates? |
| |
All existing countertops MUST be removed
before we come to template your kitchen. This ensures the most accurate
template for your kitchen. International Stone does NOT dispose of your
existing countertops.

Do all my cabinets need to be installed in order
to make templates? |
| |
Yes. All cabinet base's, I.e. where granite
will be installed, have to be properly installed and leveled before we
come to make a template. |

What needs to be on site when you come to do the
template? |
| |
We require that the sink, faucet,
cook-top, stove, and or all appliances that will affect the measurement of
the countertop be ON SITE (at your home) when we come to do a template.
With out these, we will not be able to properly template your kitchen. If
you have questions on any of these topics, please do not hesitate to call
our fabrication shops and they will be able to answer your questions in
full detail.
NOTE: Customers that have Farmer Sinks. These sinks must be installed
Prior to us coming to make the template for your kitchen. |

How do I get a quote? |

In order to give you a price, we
require the sketch for your kitchen. This means the cabinet sketch with
measurements included. With this we are able to give you a very good idea
on the price of your countertops. |
